Those silly wags at Icarus Studios have just announced a Fallen Earth caption contest to be run from today until November 20th. The screenshot for captioning and the contest rules can be seen below:

A Feast Fit for the Factions: Fallen Earth's Thanksgiving Caption Contest

Join us in giving thanks for all things-friendship, fun... survival skills, hazmat suits and rocket launchers! Our seven characters have gathered for a Thanksgiving feast Fallen Earth style in celebration of the upcoming holiday, and we're trying to figure out what's going on. Provide us with some good captions and we'll provide you with prizes.

While the collection of characters in the picture would most likely never gather in game, Thanksgiving is a special celebration. You'll see some Lightbearer NPCs having a conversation in back. Does it have something to do with the Oh! Noes hot sauce on the table? The CHOTA in front and center shows off the high end PC gear, although his use of the "provoke" emote is less than kind, considering the holiday. The guy with the antlers could have gotten a memo that the dress for the occasion was festive, although as a CHOTA shaman, he might look like this all the time. And although poultry, milk and pie are general use items in the game, we're not sure who's cooking. Can you help us figure it out?

From 3 p.m. EST on November 17 through 5 p.m. EST on November 20, we will be accepting submissions for the 2008 Fallen Earth Thanksgiving Caption Contest. The top three (3) creative submissions to the Thanksgiving Caption Contest will receive an Alpha Key for entry into Alpha testing in addition to a Fallen Earth t-shirt. All winners and honorable mentions will appear on the FallenEarth.com web site on November 21.
