IGN has got the scoop on what appears to be an EverQuest feature film. Nerds everywhere in their painted elf ears commence joygasming! Sources tell IGN that 300's Michael Gordon is doing the screenplay. There are no plot details or official release date as of yet, but estimations are around 2010. So don't mark your calenders just yet, but hey, you've got a ton of time to design your EverQuest Movie Launch Party costume.

IGN has learned that Sony Pictures is teaming with former Marvel Studios honcho Avi Arad to bring Sony Online Entertainment's 3-D massively multiplayer online role-playing fantasy game EverQuest to the big screen.
