January 2008 Live Event Summary (Thistledown)

As most adventurers know, one should always expect the unexpected. After months of fighting Aerbax's creations, and attempting to thwart his further experimentations, the people of Dereth reacted quickly when they received an unusual invitation.

Yeah, yeah - but ignoring that game contrivance :p - I've always felt the Virindi were sexless, or maybe asexual? Either way, it was still a fun event (except for those bloodthirsty savages).

so was aerbax killed at the TD event? like when asheron got killed on some event way back when?

No. He left before his HP got low enough to be killed. I think he left at like 30%....so I imagine if he had stayed, he could have been killed.

Anyway, my question is.. What was the reward on TD? As we were getting our rewards in Yanshi someone was complaining because we didn't kill him that TD had killed him and gotten a different reward. Our modified token reward was a title and a pet.

That's the same reward we got on TD for the modified token. I never saw any other token, although I read on the official forums that at least SC had two types. Aslo, TD NOT KILL HIM. I had him selected the whole time (I was actually trying to heal him), and he never dipped below about 30% that I saw, so ou can put that rumor to bed. :)

How fantastic an event, this was. I can only imagine the lore buffs disecting this into their volumes and timelines. ;)
