I remember that, it happened on Thistledown I believe. I also remember the reports of those that had been taken up to the Spires (from reading it here at the crossroads of Dereth) and their choice in the destruction of Arwic.

There were two Dark Masters, and Vidorian left a few notes around that described her futile resistance and eventual geas that resulted in the Shard's destruction. I remember that right before the attack, Blackthorn reportedly had a computer crash.

Does anyone have a copy of her note? There was also the sacrifice of the Defenders of the Shard, several of them sacrificed themselves to it in order to strengthen it. I also remember how upset several people felt with Turbine not allowing Server divergence. Still it is interesting that the only server in which the defenders made it to the shard before the attackers was also the only server that had had any monarch accept the Shadows' deal in the Spires.

The time after the release of Bael'Zharon was a blast too, there were so many people that swore to him, and I remember someone drinking with him, on Darktide I think.
