A LONG time ago, perhaps when these boards were still run by "Allan Grey" as Crossroads of Dereth, there was a large compendium of all things AC. Found some odd drops - golem hearts, lugian sinews, Tumerock medallions - you could go to the compendium, look them up, get a description, and if they were turn-in items, who to take them too. It may be that with virtually the current entire population lvl 100+ that no one needs this information anymore. I recently restarted with a new account, and while I can remember some of the items, I'm still only lvl 25, and this database would be of some value for a while to me. Does it still exist ?

BTW, of interest to LC old timers, Nightwolf was recently seen playing Age of Conan on the Set server.

It still exists, but is waiting to be converted over to the new database. You can find SOME things in the new database, but not everything - yet. I need to go rattle some warcry programmer cages again :)

How does one connect to whatever databases are still available? Your reply to my original question referenced it, and you also made a reference to it to the xBower who had a question regarding what arrows would kill.

BTW, on a separate topic, my frequent disconnects have disappeared as the results of one, or both, changes made recently: I changed ISPs from Comcast to Verizon at the same time the new hardware was implemented. Either way, I'm a happier camper again. Still have annoying lag at times, but have had that since day 1 back in Dec' 99.
