Investigate a rumor found at the Ayan Bar, regarding a strange temple in the swamp.

Walkthrough

The new quest that starts with a rumor found at the Ayan Bar. The rumor reads:
For those of an adventurous mind. I have been asked to explore a new structure found in the Direland Swamps. I am told that it lies somewhere near 41.5s, 49.5w. I will have set an Explorer Society Marker at this location if you wish to follow in my footsteps.
As a poet once said, "Who knows what treasures lost lie beneath the muck of ages?"
-- Madam Ainea Besu, Explorer of the Society

To reach those coords, Head to Holtburg. Take the Dryreach portal near the meeting hall, and once in dryreach do a 180 and hit the direlands swamp portal. The temple is a short run from the drop at 41.5s 49.3w.

It`s a strange looking place with one open wall. When you try to enter the opening, you are portaled away! you arrive inside a Falatacot dungeon. Right inside is the corpse of Ainea Besu, author of the rumor. On her corpse is a book.

The dungeon is full of Sclavus lords and Burun Ruuk and Guruk (small burun and brute burun) all around level 130. At the very end of the dungeon is a strange Falatacot portal device (cannot be selected, picked up, or used). Next to it spawns a Burun Messenger, a level 135 Burun. He had 100K HP and was relatively weak to fire, but still takes a long time to kill solo. Do not run away from the Messenger or let it get away from you, if you do its HP will reset and you will have to start over. When you kill it, it drops a collar. There is a 13 day timer on the collar.

The collar says to bring it to a translator. The one in Hebian-To is the Falatacot translator, so it is brought there.

Fanzen San examines the collar in fascination.
Fanzen San the Translator tells you, "This looks like Falatacot workmanship. This could be a pet`s collar or something similar."
Fanzen San the Translator tells you, "Yes, this symbol on the collar is definitely Falatacot. I believe it means "Unity". No actually this marking on the triangle represents a single person or a name. This translates better as "One of Three". Very interesting..."
Fanzen San the Translator tells you, "My my, look here, there is some writing on the inside too. Hehe, sortof a "If found please return to..." It gives a set of coordinates. Let me see..."
Fanzen San opens a map of Dereth and drags his fingers along its length to rest in the Osteth Mountain range.
Fanzen San the Translator tells you, "Yes, here it is in the Osteth Mountains. There`s nothing marked there on the map, but that doesn`t mean there isn`t something there. The coordinates are 70.6N, 14.5W."
The second dungeon is near Stonehold. The portal is a door named Ikzisik Tika Ri Zikma, this portal is tieable, recallable, but not summonable. You need to be wearing the collar to enter the portal.

This dungeon is a little more difficult than the last. It is full of sclavus, burun, guruk's and falatacot's. It also has traps all over the place. After some exploring, the only item of note in the dungeon is a falatacot book. This book is down a hallway that is lined with falatacot traps (a narrow hallway, not the two wider ones). The book spawns on a table, and it on a very slow respawn, the same as the falatacot in the previous room. The tome is also on a 13 day timer.

There may be more to this dungeon but we were unable to find anything.

The book can be brought back to the translator for a translated copy and a percentage of level exp reward.

You give Fanzen San the Translator Falatacot Tome.
You`ve earned 31,061,731 experience. (I was level 105)
Fanzen San the Translator gives you Words of the High Matriarch.
Fanzen San the Translator tells you, "This High Matriarch, this "One of Three", must have sent the burun messenger you intercepted."
Fanzen San the Translator tells you, "She may have something to do with the other recent Falatacot activities I`ve heard about. I may send a message to the Royal Guard concerning this. Thank you for your help friend."
