WALKTHROUGH
Travel to Silyun and speak with the Grand Mother.
Grand Mother tells you, "You, who have done so much for the people of Silyun, I now request a boon from you."Well, there aren't a lot of clues here as to exactly where to find this Eater. Luckily, I know! Head to the Marauder's Lair at (83.9N, 66.4W), a short run southest from Silyun across the river.
Grand Mother tells you, "Not for the people. Not for the cause. But for ME!"
Grand Mother tells you, "I seek...no demand vengeance. It is my right and I have been denied it for far too long."
Grand Mother tells you, "For you see, not long after we arrived on this wretched land, my favorite grandson was taken from me."
Grand Mother tells you, "One of those vile creature we now call Eaters attacked our camp and brutally killed and ate him as we all watched in stunned horror."
Grand Mother tells you, "The short of the tale is that thing escaped and all attempts to kill it have met with failure."
Grand Mother tells you, "You shall be my blade. My truth. My justice. My revenge!"
Grand Mother tells you, "Seek this creature out and kill it."
Grand Mother tells you, "Bring me the jaws of this Eater so that they can cause no more sorrow to others."
From the drop, head down the tunnel. At the first intersection, head north, passing two intersections, as the tunnel curves to the west. Continue west, down a ramp. Warning! The bottom of the ramp is a great place to get swarmed by Fungi! Be careful.
At the bottom of the ramp is an intersection. Turn north, and at the next four-way intersection, turn west. Go straight west, pass a few intersections, enter the west tunnel which heads down a ramp. At the bottom turn south.
At the next intersection turn left (right is a dead-end). At the next "T"-intersection turn
right / west, and continue general southward, hugging the left wall. You should end up in a
large bright room with a big white mushroom. Exit this room to the east, go down a ramp, and
pass through another room.
The tunnels now become corridors, as you continue past some ramps. Continue onward, and you come to an area where your corridor passes above a lower corridor. Jump downwards, being careful to chose the side that prevents you from being swarmed from both sides by eaters!
Once you have cleared the area of monsters, continue in either direction. You will come to a second section where you must jump down to the lower corridor. Do so, again being careful.
This lower section leads westward to a large room. There, after climbing some stairs, you must jump down into the pit and fight the Marauder. Kill the Marauder, loot the Marauder's Jaw, and exit via the nearby portal.
Return to Silyun and give the Grand Mother the jaw.
You give Grand Mother Marauder's Jaw.
Grand Mother tells you, "This is from the beast that killed my grandson?"
The fire in Grand Mother's eyes slowly fades, replace by tears of sorrow.
Grand Mother tells you, "For so long I have waited for this moment."
Grand Mother tells you, "All the old pain and memories flood back into my soul when I look upon this jaw."
Grand Mother tells you, "Bless you, soldier of light. You will forever have my gratitude."
