Asheron has issued a Call for brave warriors to band together and prepare for the advancing Olthoi menace. He warns of a new queen, "This Queen...is the most terrible thing that this world or any other has ever seen. What is worse is that she remembers, and in that memory she undoubtedly is stalking me...but when she learns that her children have suffered so much at our hands, her attentions will be cast toward us all."
Portals have been opened from the mainland to Asheron's Island. Inside these Olthoi dungeons is a reward for those powerful and brave enough to slay it's Matron. "Silken raiment woven together to be worn over the entirety of the body. Simple clasps allow for the item to be cinched along the front."

These dungeons are filled with Olthoi.
Protections and banes for slash, pierce and acid are needed.

Getting There
***Note*** This quest changed once the Matrons were slain in the correct order. It is no longer possible to go to the surface of Asheron's Island. These portals will take you directly to the Matron's Hives and the landing zones are hot.

The Battle
Proceed downward in the dungeon, basically heading north and west, crossing two acid pits to the Matron's chamber. Slay the matron and collect a carapace from her.
***Note*** There are no longer surface portals in any of the dungeons.
The Reward
Take your trophy to the Olthoi Hunter at (30.9N,56.3E).
You give Olthoi Hunter Brood Matron Carapace.
Olthoi Hunter tells you, "Asheron said that I should be expecting these sometime soon. He also gave me a nice selection of rewards for the efforts of those that helped out. Give me a just a moment while I sort through the items."
