Another Tale of Love, Loss and Lore Discovered by Cerasi Text Dated Solclaim PY 11

Note: This text was buried with two sets of armor, a spear and an axe. It is the dialogue from the view of a warrior with his love. The warrior's name was never mentioned in the text, and for sake of respect I have replaced the name of the lover with Maleena. The armor this text was buried with appears to be theirs, as one of the sets of armor is dyed blue like mentioned in the text. Since the warrior also mentions his axe, I assume the spear is his lovers.

Maleena has returned.

You tell Maleena, "Hi"
You smile.

Maleena tells you, "Morning."
Maleena tells you, "or afternoon... or night"
Maleena smirks.

You laugh.
You tell Maleena, "So where are you?"

Maleena tells you, "Arwic"

You tell Maleena, "Why don't you come to me this time"
You smile at the thought of seeing her.

Maleena tells you, "Sure, why not. Where are you?"

You tell Maleena, "Tou-Tou"

Maleena tells you, "Tou-Tou?"

You tell Maleena, "Yep"

Maleena tells you, "Have we gone mad?"
Maleena smiles.

You laugh and then sit down to meditate.

Maleena arrives at Tou-Tou.
Maleena tells you, "When you say Tou-Tou, it usually means in Tou-Tou"
Maleena smiles.

You take in all around you and smile.
You tell Maleena, "I'm admiring the ocean"

Maleena tells you, "Fair enough"
Maleena walks towards you.

You open your eyes and stand up.
You say, "Why hello there"
You say, "Fancy meeting you here"
You gain a sly smirk on your face.

Maleena laughs, then turns towards the sea.
Maleena says, "It's Knorr...."
Maleena points.

You say, "Knorr?"

Maleena says, "The island"
Maleena
says, "Knorr"

You say, "Have you ever been there?"

Maleena says, "Not yet"
Maleena says, "There we shall find the final soul stone... before the undead do"
Maleena smiles.

You say, "How do you know this?"

Maleena says, "I do my bedtime reading"
Maleena gets another sly smirk on her face.
Maleena says, "Of course... we want them to find it first"

You say, "I see"
You smile as you gaze into her eyes.

Maleena says, "The undead know what they are doing, we do not"

You say, "Of course not, we just wander around killing things"
You laugh at the thought of the over crowded Black Spawn Den.

Maleena says, "As soon as we destroy the last soul stone, Bael'Zharon is unleashed... the undead want to stop us"

Maleena decides to meditate for awhile.
You sit down next to her and join her.

You say, "So what would happen if we don't?"

Maleena says, "Destroy it?"

You say, "Yes"

Maleena says, "The shadow would leave... as long as the crystal is safe"
Maleena says, "If not, chances are we would become shadows when Bael'Zharon is out"
Maleena says, "The army of Atlan, they are the shadows we see today"
Maleena says, "and are the Children from Nestortania"

You say, "Then we must stop our kind from acting on instinct"

Maleena says, "Oh... but the final soul stone... shall be mine"
Maleena gets another smirk on her face.

You say, "Wait, I thought we shouldn't destroy it?"

Maleena says, "No, I want Bael'Zharon to come back"

You let out a hearty laugh.
You say, "Is there something you aren't telling me about yourself?"

Maleena says, "The hopeslayer is the only one who can give us what we
want"

You get a puzzled look on your face.
You say, "Oh really?"
You say, "This hopeslayer... who do you refer of?"

Maleena says, "Bael'Zharon"
Maleena says, "It is what he was referred to in and after the times of Dericost"

You say, "Oh great, we are becoming evil now"
You let out another laugh.
You say, "I guess I need to change my attire then..."
You say, "I was just starting to like my new blue armor... it's not even complete yet"
You frown.

Maleena laughs.
Maleena says, "No, no, no... he can do something for us"
Maleena says, "What do you seek more than Lapyan plants?"

You say, "To return to the fair land of Ispar?"

Maleena says, "... yes... for when he returns, so shall Asheron"

You say, "What logic presides here?"
You say, "Asheron will come to fight this evil?"

Maleena says, "It was Asheron who entrapped him in the first place, and so he shall do again"

You say, "I must raise our brethren and fight this evil with him then"

Maleena says, "Depends what you call evil..."

You say, "Ah, and who would you stand with?"

Maleena says, "Not Asheron... but not Bael'Zharon"
Maleena says, "They are as bad as each other"

You say, "The Asheron who saved us from the pits of despair? The Asheron who was just trying to enlighten his people and their sense of magic?"

Maleena says, "It is Asheron who summoned us here to clean up his own mess"
Maleena says, "It was Asheron who saved his own life over those of the Council of Knorr"
Maleena says, "It was Asheron who used magic he had no comprehension of"

You say, "It is Asheron who fouled up yes, but he has saved his people and continues to guide us
through these horrific times"

Maleena says, "It is true Asheron saved them in the time of the hopeslayer, but he made too many foolish choices after"
Maleena says, "Asheron should never reach a position of power, due to his poor judgement"

You say, "So you would let the shadows trick us again and use us?"
You say, "Is it not their spires that are watching from above?"
You say, "I will not stand idle as our towns are in danger"

Maleena says, "After what I have seen so far? No... but I wouldn't follow any of these leaders"

You say, "Then just what leader is brave enough to stand up in such times?"
You say, "It has been a long time since the grace of men like Thorsten lived"

Maleena says, "There was only one who stood up against the hopeslayer other than Asheron, that was Atlan, but now he is a shadow... and we will destroy him like the others"

You say, "If we let be what be, this world will become peaceful of shadows once more"
You say, "Am I mistaken?"

Maleena says, "But what stops two thousand others from not attacking?"

You say, "Lore and knowledge, a skill that has been set aside lately because of the desire to kill thousands of one beast. It sickens me that my fellow warriors have no heart"
You say, "I say we fear not however. With you by my side, like a beach, I'm sure we can defeat any challenges that wash up to our feet"

Maleena smiles.
Maleena says, "Yes... it will sort itself out"

You say, "We shall either be victorious together, or die together"

Maleena says, "Both are noble fates"

You stand up.
Maleena wonders why you seem so anxious.

You say, "But now, there is only one quest I want to talk about"

Maleena says, "Didn't you already gather enough
Lapyan plants for your armor?"
Maleena smiles.

You laugh at her joke.
You say, "You know me too well"
You smile as you look at her sitting as you fiddle around for something in your bag.
You say, "Now as nice as blue armor is, there is only one quest I have not ventured with you."
You say, "I would like to venture this one special quest with you Maleena"
You get down on one knee.

Maleena opens her eyes and turns towards you. She gasps.

You give Maleena a Gold Ring.
You say, "Will you marry me?"

Maleena says, "Ah, you don't want to do this"
Maleena smiles at you as she looks into your eyes.

You say, "We have seen so much of this world together, and I could not imagine traveling this road with anyone else but you."
You smile again as she begins to blush.

Maleena says, "No... I can't"
Maleena looks away.

You look down at the ring, wait a second, and then turn her cheek ever so gently to look back into her eyes.
You say, "I love you"

Maleena says, "I love you too, but that would never be the problem..."
Maleena says, "It's just, we can't get caught up in something like that right now..."
Maleena says, "I mean, if it was anyone, it would be you... but not here"
Maleena says, "In time... just wait awhile... ok?"

You say, "Well, I wasn't going to rush you out and do it right now"
You get another smirk on your face.
You say, "I figured it would be awhile"
You say, "Besides, we have to get blue robes after all"

Maleena smiles and then gets serious again.
Maleena says, "Oh, don't do this..."

You say, "I just don't see why you are so worried? Is it Bael'Zharon?"
You say, "If so I will grab my axe and take care of him right now..."
You say, "I will do
anything to have your love"

Maleena says, "You already have it, don't worry... in due time we will be together"
Maleena says, "I promise..."

Note: Some other texts were found with this one, most of them are unclear however. From what I gather, shortly after this conversation Maleena was never seen again. Enraged by this and the new found destruction of his home, the warrior raised an army to fight the shadows in retaliation for Arwic. Alongside his friend Rosethorn, this army defeated the Caulnalain Soul Crystal. This was the last and noble gift he said he could give to his love. Although Maleena was never seen again, the warrior believed she would one day return. Retired, the warrior spent his last days as a scribe until he also disappeared. It is unclear who buried this text, but it was buried under the beaches of Tou-Tou. I have reburied everything I found, maybe someday they will indeed return.
