Akal-Saris's younger brother, he chafed at the arts of tailoring and followed Akal-Saris into Dereth at his first opportunity. A sickly child, he soon learned to wield a staff with deadly power, and showed promise of easily exceeding Akal-Saris in fighting prowess. On a quest, however, Virindi captured him and tortured him for over a week. When he finally escaped, he was a changed man, and refused to fight anything save honorable warriors such as Lugians. He dutifully took on Akal's Mule's duty of guarding the family loot, and has remained there, writing poetry.
