This quest starts on Caul Island. From Caul drop run to coordinates 91.9S X 93.7W (Artifex Collegium)
One you get inside you go straight until you reach the three way split. You will then go left until you find the Virindi Boss at the end. The Virindi drops Virindi Essence. Pickup three to four up, because if your time runs out while inside Claude's mind you will need another to get back in.
Next head to Redspire on Marae Lassel. Once in Redspire, take the Northern Ahurenga Plains portal just north of the town. Upon landing you and your fellow will run to coordinates: 53.4N, 79.0W and speak with Aun Kelauri He asks you to find Atuakeh Dust. Atuakeh Plants can be found around the general area he is in. Once you have an Atuakeh Plant, have someone with a high skill in Alchemy crush the plant into dust with a mortar and pestle.
Once the plant has been crushed, and your fellow is ready, give the Dust to the Keh Fire next to Aun Kelauri. This will lock your fellowship and portal you into the dungeon.
*Special Note*
If you lag out in any part of this quest, you will be unable to rejoin the group until the one hour timer is up, as it is no log out.
Once you are portaled inside Claudes mind a timer will start. Your group has exactly 1hour from entry to defeat this quest. To save precious time at this first part, have your main fellow stay still and one person (Generally the quest leader) run ahead and scout for Claude The Archmage. Once you find him, hand him the Virindi Essence. When you hand the Virindi Essence to Claude, the entire fellowship will be portalled to the next section, Delving into Claude's Mind.
This next room has a continuous respawn once you speak with Claude. Have one person pick up the five essences needed. They are:
Essence of Conformity
Essence of Loyalty
Essence of Order
Essence of Statis
Essence of Selflessness
Once you have all five essences, hand them to Claude to be portaled into the next section, Exploring the Past.
Exploring the Past is just what it sounds like. Past events that occurred in Asherons Call. This one represents the Virindi Invasion of Ayan. How this one works is you have two things to handle here.
I. The massive spawn/continuous respawn of Virindi labeled as some of the townsfolk like Ulgrim.
II. You must pickup a total of 17 reflections.
You must give the proper reflection to the NPC Virindi to light them up. If you do it incorrectly, more virindi will spawn, if you succeed they will start to glow.
*It is strongly advised that the Quest Leader work on this part and have the rest of the fellow work on the spawn*
This area is an exact duplicate of Ayan, and where the NPC's stand in the real town. Your job is to light them all up, and then finally give Claude his reflection for the group to portaled into the next area.

Once you have them all light up, proceed back north and hand Claude his reflection, the group will be portaled into the next stage: Witnessing History.
You'll be treated to the meeting between Asheron, The Shadows led by General Isiun Dule, Lady Aerfalle (leader of the Undead) The Virindi (Lead By Claude) and more. After you see this message, you will be faced with numerous high level shadows.
Asheron says, "Here is what I would propose, then - what I believe is needed in order to defeat Bael'Zharon. Let us obtain and use these artifacts - forge them into the keystone of a ritual, whereby I may weaken him. Then he may perhaps be defeated, at least for a time..."
Umbris Elite Commander says, "The great Ler Rhan sends his greetings to all of you, and regrets only that he could not find time to personally see to your destruction."
Lord Haranue falls, destroyed by the attackers.
The best way to defeat these high level shadows is to run around the fairly large room in a circle, and most of the wars will go flying into the walls themselves and not you.
After you clear all the shadows a portal will appear called
Path to More Recent Times. *Before the group takes the portal remember to dispel yourselves completely, because if you don't old Aerbax can kill you in one hit*.
In this area you'll get a quick glimpse of Aerbax before he portals you to the final section, Crossing the Threshold of Darkness. You can fight him, but will do next to no damage on him, as your only there very briefly.
This last room contains three Claude the Dark Archmage's. You only need to kill one, for one full fellow. *It is critical that before you fight Claude that you dispel yourselves completely, other wise you will die quickly.*
The best tactic here is to have someone (again preferably the Quest Leader) go out into the large room and lure one of the Claudes. AR Fire works the best on Claude. Once he is defeated have everyone loot a Shadowy Virindi Essence off it's corpse. Your group then travels to Ayan and takes it to Leopold The Virindi at coords 59.2S X 88.3W.
Leopold gives you Visage of the Shadow Virindi. (Mask)
You'll also get about 20-30% toward your level.
