Lady Adja was the Priestess of Ithaenic. She was Yalaini though Falatacot blood flowed in her veins as well as evidenced by her green eyes. Her grandmother fled Dericost and told the Empress Alaidain of the secret ways through Gelid leading to the Dericost defeat.

She was a rival of the Lady Rajael Fellarien to the position of Protector of Marae Lassel. Later she served as chief prosecutor in the matter of the Lady Rajael Fellarien's neglect of her duties as the Protector. Their disagreement was largely theological in basis.

Around the time when Bael'zharon was released, Lady Adja saw that there would be three men who will threaten bringing the world to madness. Bael'zharon is one of them. She helps prolong Asheron's life because she loves her world and sees him as able to stop the three (see below).

Lady Adja was a member of the Council of Five (ironically along with Lady Rajael) who constructed the crystal array that imprisoned Bael'zharon. She died creating the prison at Jailne Lyceum along with the rest of the council in RE895. Her knowledge of Falacot magic allowed Lady Maila to preserve and prolong the life of Asheron.
