Cazamel was the envoy between the New Directive faction of Virindi and a group of renegade Lugians called the Gotrok. The Gotrok wrested control of the chorizite mines from their brethren, who had been moving towards making peace with the Isparians. In exchange for providing support to the Gotrok in their rebellion, the Virindi would receive regular shipments of the anti-magic mineral, which would be used in the construction of their Hollow Minions.
