Khyran

Khyran: Errand Boy of Dereth

Sorry I'm late, gang. Can you call one or two people a "gang?" Anyway, I've been off chatting with some new people that have started hanging out in Dereth, and they've been sending me hither and yon. The first guy was in Arwic, by the ever-popular forge. He sent me off to the Arwic Mines to get a hammer so he could teach me to craft. But I already knew how to craft! All those classes in the caves... oh well, I figured I might have some fun and get some materials out of it... and maybe he'd pay me. I got out to the mines to find that it was swarming with other people this guy sent down there. I got the hammer easily anyway. So I returned to him, and he asked me to go see a miller in Kehan. Curious, I went to go see her. She sent me on a mission to gather some materials for her so she could fix the windmill that the drudges trashed during a wild party (okay, I made that part up), then she sent _me_ to fix it. I did all this, and then she asked me, you guessed it, to see someone else! So I've basically been running various errands involving killing drudges and getting some object or other. Thus far I've been getting some decent rewards, I'm having some fun, and I'm getting vitae for a cause! Also being a go-for has forced me from my normal haunts to see more of the land. You know I'm starting to get the feeling that those screechy, smelly, little menaces are more of a threat than I thought before. Drudge smackdown is fast becoming my sport of choice.

Can someone craft me some deodorant?

I continue to have little luck on the social scene. I'm not looking to be "Mister Popularity", mind you! Several times I've stopped and said "hi" to people who stood there looking at me as if I'd coughed up a dank vermin and spat it on their feet. Then they usually walk off as if I'd never said anything. I swear I clean my armor and change my clothes regularly! On the other hand, I did meet some nice folks while running errands. A lady named Elara let me join up with their group while attempting to interrogate drudges in the Cragstone excavation. My "interrogations" usually consisted of an arrow between the eyes, so I didn't learn a lot, but we got what we were looking for. Ultimately we had to find some plans and return them to a lady in Cragstone. (Why those little squeakers had them, I'm not sure, but it is starting to seem more ominous then I first thought. I didn''t know the freaks could read. What if they can write? *Shudder*) A group in the Cobalt Vault also let me join up briefly, but we disbanded at the shard, as is customary. Other than those odd incidences, I don't know what to do, really. I suppose I could start introducing myself. "Hi, I'm Khyran, I'm an archer, and I'm a Scorpio!"
